I'm starting to recognize this team, feels like we can have as much talent as we like, we're still going to find ways to lose.

Hopefully Dumervil and Dixon will be healthy for next week. Supposedly Dixon is on pace /w his recovery (aka, no setbacks) and Doom was close to starting for this week after practicing Thurs.

Don't think there were any injuries this week, though I did see ZDS holding his ankle before finishing the game

We never seem to just have games where we can sit back on a 2 score lead and win.

At least we're winning the close games as opposed to last year

I'll take a W any way it comes. But every once in a while we could go up and stay up. Having a nail biter every week is gonna kill me.

Kenneth Dixon returned to practice on a limited basis. If he can play Sunday, our run game might not be complete garbage. It's crazy that a rookie RB is our only good RB in a day and age where RBs are looked at as being a dime a dozen, but Forsett seems completely done, and West should really only be a short-yardage back. Dixon was the only one who showed some serious burst in preseason, plus he is unquestionably the best receiving back on the roster (even if he has concentration drop problems, he has good hands), and he was acclaimed for his pass-pro in college.

Also Dumervil returned, though that was expected.

/ Ian Rapoport is reporting that Dixon is targeting a week 5 return though -_- makes sense, but a man can hope

Who needs an rb when you got flacgod? Jokes aside, i agree, dixons going to be the answer for the backfield situation. All preseason hype on west has faded, forsett is a career backup player, and buck allen is good for a healthy scratch.

Buck Allen looked like complete garbage in preseason. He probably thought he'd get handed the starting role and showed up to camp fat/out of shape or something.

Flacco has actually played pretty well considering there is no run game. He had 21-straight completions @JAX, and would have been 22 but Wallace dropped a perfectly-located TD pass.

Looking like Stanley is doubtful for Sunday's game, and Dixon is doubtful too.

I thought maybe the walking boot was just a precaution, since he played last week /w his ankle injury, but I guess it's serious. Watching Hurst attempt to block Mack is going to be hard to watch, should they line him up over LT.
