Ohio State QBs ALWAYS bust though

The last highly drafted one before Fields (who is way too early to label a bust and actually shows a lot of promise) was Dwayne Haskins in 2019

JT Barrett, undrafted
Braxton Miller, converted to WR
Cardale Jones, 4th round pick

The last QB from Ohio State to be drafted before Cardale Jones was Troy Smith in 2007 (a 5th round pick)

You could say that Ohio St doesn’t produce a lot of good NFL QBs, and you’d be right, but the term bust doesn’t seem accurate.

But a lot of programs don’t produce many good NFL QBs, that doesn’t mean a good one can’t come along.

Stroud is the best QB prospect in this draft imo.

Not only is he just an absolute physical specimen he has a high QB IQ also. But I believe the Panthers have done the best this post season to build a phenomenal coaching stuff. He'll only be as good as the coaching and players around him. I believe stroud is a stand up guy and I believe he's the right man for the job.

This is a good point.

Gave up your best player and a bunch of draft capital, only to draft a QB in a class with a bunch of question marks lol. None of the QBs scream "Franchise" in this class.

They all have their issues and you guys only made it harder to build around them due to what you gave up lol.
