Yeah basically. The original 4 team was already over the 5k payout limit, so adding the extra leg did nothing for his bet.

With all respekt to both dudes because I think they're both great contributors to the forum, I see it like this:

If I'm at Vegas sportsbook and I hit 6/7 teams on my parlay and decide that the 6 team payout is adequate i cannot go to the counter and modify my parlay ticket to a 6 team before the 7th game begins.

If I wanted to hedge I'd have to do so by other means

The 5k limit is inconsequential IMO.

If I'm missing any other info of significance and I'm misguided pls correct me

however you can retract bets before game time on jsp, you cannot do that on bookie so cant compare them tbh

Fair point as well. But can also argue a parlay is a singular (group of) bet(s) and once a game starts then the bet is live.

Mainly I just hope this can get settled without jsp mods. I'm sure terp and ianarky will come up with something

theres also something called open parlay's . Some books do allow you to remove a ticket before game time to decrease your expected payout

to be fair any sports book/casino would most likely reject the request to remove ians play ,but this is supposed to be a friendly community its clearly obvious ian was over the 5k prior to addding the game, the honorable thing would of been for terps to just remove the wager from the parlay slip , but it is his book and his rules . Very difficut situation , but if your friends and both trusted tag i would assume one would give the other the benfit of the doubt.

In terms of Terps in general hes got malicous intent for sure , and the funny thing is alot of you guys stand by him when he tries to nickle and dime -20 -30 cent vig,

BUT when you see someone edging trying to get an extra half a point you start going down his throat (keep in mind a extra .5 only cost 15 cents , so hypotheticaly speaking u let terps get away with about 1 FULL pt advantage worth of juice ) <---Worse then everyones favorite enemy 24k

Terps should’ve let him remove the packers leg since it literally does nothing for ian, but terps always bm as fk
