i'll start some offseason discussion off:

moves i want:
get lovie smith at DC-->this wont happen but i can dream cant i
resign amendola cheap cuz injury prone
resign sjax hopefully at like 5mil a year(lets face it pead is a total bust and richardson looked pretty bad second half of season as well, we need sjax more than ever)
do not resign craig dahl
do not resign rocky or that other dude that started at OLB im blanking on his name right now
restructure mikells contract for cap space
and i wish we could resign fletcher but i just dont see it happening

with top 3 picks in draft i want in no specific order:
free safety
OT
OG
do not draft a wr... from what i've heard there are no standouts so i would rather develop quick/givins and get a true #1/#2 in free agency as our sole big free agent pick up

add LB depth/TE in 3rd and 4th rd

in free agency pick up:
dwayne bowe (not greg jennings i personally think half his production is product of a system and he isn't anything spectacular)
a servicable OLB that is starting caliber
add a DT if the price is right

if we can do all these i think we would make the playoffs

CB4:Fletcher if we can keep him but he will probably go

i think that could be a very dangerous team. especially on defense
offensively we would be at least average

Your post was so insightful that I opened this thread like three times trying to come up with a response other than "Yep, that sounds great."

I sure hope it's all that good, though. A few pieces coming together could make for a pretty dominant team.

Some call me an optimist others call me a magician that can foresee the future
for real though i would be ecatatic if we could get a wild card spot next year haha


1 more thing i might add to our offseason is trying out another punter our punter this year shanked a few too many kicks for my liking.

We really are only a fixed oline wr olb and safety away from having a complete team. Maybe we dont get it done in 1 offseason but we can make it happen in two

2013 SB Champions bump

Well we lost amendola and sjax and brought in an average te so far. We have been definite losers in fa thus far. If we could lock in jake long that would make fa not a total disaster for us. We basically have to draft a wr first round this draft now though which i didnt particularly want... Oh well i hope managent knows what their doing or we could turn back the positive strides we made last year

You guys better not take Delmas from us lol
