Wow. Complete and utter defensive breakdown by St. Louis.

Followed by Fells completely failing to understand there's a clock involved. If he'd been smart enough to fall down at the 30, we could have gotten another 3 points out of that at least.

We've been pulling it off pretty well lately. In all honesty, it's only a three score game at this point. If we get our first-quarter Defense back in the game and Bradford/SJax both wake up, we still have a chance at this one.

Granted, I'm not saying it's inevitable by any stretch. But I never call it a game til it says :00 4th, and I never lose hope in my boys.

Yes, it is hard being a Rams fan, thank you for asking. :P

Honestly, the Defense didn't start falling apart until Special Teams gave up that big TD, and I think a lot of that was just a big sapping of confidence because so many of them are young guys.

More than anything though, I think that this shows what happens when we get too big for our britches. If there's one thing that the onside kick shows us, it's that we were cocky dipshits walking into this game. That kick said "We're better than you," and it inspired the Lions to shove those words right down our throats.

We need to come back out with calm nerves. The defense needs to come out like it's 0-0 and the first half was a bad dream and just play some solid football. And we just have to get some offensive production, obviously. I'd really like to see them start relying on some of that screen passing and grinding it out that we saw so much of against the Redskins on offense. No hurry, no need for huge gains on every play, just grind it out and put up some fucking points.
