Raw passing yards? Sir, he wasn't even top 20 in pass attempts. Eagles are a run first offense, which includes Hurts (who was one of the best scrambling QBs and rushing in RPO). They threw fewer than any other team in the league. That's also why Hurts is a Super Bowl Champion and MVP with two of the greatest big stage performances ever while guys like Burrow throw for a billion yards in the regular season and don't win shit when it matters 😂

Hurts:

#1 in completion % above expectation

Top 5 in YPA and Passer Rating

#1 in broken tackles

#7 in on target throw %

He has ELITE deep ball numbers outside of the numbers too. One of the absolute best timing, touch, trajectory accuracy, back shoulder, etc. He not only has a cannon but great touch too.

Over his last 16 games, including the 4 postseason games, he has thrown just two....yes TWO interceptions to 20 touchdowns. Takes care of the ball well rushing too.

He's a good passer who doesn't need to throw 600 times a season. He cares about winning more than volume stats. Thats why hes a super bowl champ and has been to two super bowls in the last 3 years. Guys like Burrow and Allen would trade their regular season volume scorer stats for that in a heartbeat.

Edit: im talking as if Josh Allen even threw for that many more yards. Dude had 3.7k passing yards and only threw for 25 more yards per game than Hurts did LOL. Allen had 12 goal line rushing tds this season btw...ALL 12 were tush push rofl. Wheres the hate on him???? Owait...

He also was 32nd in passing grade.

If PFF passing grade is your only metric then Michael Penix Jr and Derek Carr are both top 5 QB's since they're top 5 on that list, eh?

Oh, and the league MVP Josh Allen and the almighty Mahomes aren't even top 7 QBs. Penix Jr and Derek Carr better passers last season than them per PFF.

Also, he was 23rd not 32nd. Among qualifiers in PFF passing grade.

32nd if you remove snap count. There are 32 teams. You could make a case he is actually the worst qualified starter in the league in terms of passing.

You're removing snap count minimums and counting guys who have like 10 snaps? Lol wut

Well when you do that....the best passer in the entire NFL last season was Joe Milton with the Cowboys

What are we even arguing here rofl

And while PFF grading is one of the nice metrics we can use, we also have to remember they're the same guys who don't even have Barkley as a top 10 graded RB last season

Well if you remove the scoreboard and the interceptions and sacks the eagles were the worst team in the nfl last year. :bonk:

You brought up PFF grades to claim Hurts is ELITE.

Nice back tracking.
