But I mean we beat it with me doing it for the first time lol.

Then again they may just wanna get it done and over with and then start taking new guys in so I'll let you know lol

No. Think you're mistaking the Hub area for the Gauntlet.

Hub -> Gauntlet -> Hub -> Gardens -> Hub -> Baths -> Hub -> Callus

This.

The gauntlet is a specific encounter and when you come into the hub, it would be the room on the right side. Dogs is in the middle, baths on the left and calus straight ahead up the stairs. You can bypass the hub by going through shortcuts in the chest areas to skip it. Unless you really have it memorized though, it's not really worth it, since the hub is always a 1 try 6-8 minute thing.

Max 30 Faction engrams per character.

6ish tokens per minute depending on farming method if you wanna go hard at it.

20 tokens per level.

600 total tokens needed.

Hour 40 minutes of farming per character to cap out. Would recommend doing as much Lost Sector abuse as you can at a time, especially for those of you who can still level with vendor engrams.

Public events > sectors so far. I got over 40 tokens from just doing the 5 I needed for the powerful gear quest on IO today. Sectors you get 20ish total from doing the quest and then only a couple per sector.

There are piles of boxes you shoot in the Lost Sectors. Each one nets you a token. There can be up to 6 per Sector and you can immediately Fast Travel and redo a sector, or even just run back out and back in.

Like I said - 6ish tokens per minute compared to 40 in however long it took to get 5 public events.

And I think you may be confusing Lost Sectors with Adventures.

Didn't think they'd respawn instantly, I guess that's my mistake on that. Maybe I also had bad luck, think the most I found in a sector was 4. Obviously if you can do the same sector over and over again it's going to be faster, I didn't think they'd be that stupid. Traveling from sector to sector as I did to get the quest done, I had a higher return on public events. I took approx 15 minutes to get those 40

It's a glitch due to world chests/material nodes/etc. not being instanced to you but to the area you're in. Been like that since day 1 of D1.
