Terrell Suggs, Steve Smith Sr., Elvis Dumervil, Breshad Perriman, Trent Richardson and Jumal Rolle were all placed on the physically unable to perform list as training camp opens.

Well, that's a pretty big blow. Wasn't surprised by Perriman; TRich and Rolle are irrelevant. But SS89 being out sucks a lot (though thankfully we have some depth remaining), and we're missing our top-2 pass rushers with no one proven to replace them (probably be Z.Smith and Correa as our main pass-rush).

Doom's injury really came out of nowhere. Plus you have Waller and Boyle suspended. Amazing how it's 3 different positions losing 2+ players (WR, OLB, TE). Wouldn't be so bad if it was spread-out evenly among different positions.

Going to be up to our terribly-coached secondary to cover for extra time. I still think our offense will be decent if Flacco isn't hurt by his knee. Silver-lining is that we have some average to easy opponents over those first 6 weeks with only 1 division game (Browns), so hopefully we can go 3-3 and stay in contention

I guess it's important to note, however, that a player on the preseason PUP list can come off at any time. We won't necessarily start the season with all 6 guys on PUP if they are cleared to play before week 1. However, starting the preseason on PUP makes you eligible to begin the regular season on PUP, so it's obviously not a good sign. A player starting the regular season on PUP can, at the earliest, come back and play week 7.

Really like the Jake Long signing. Huge upgrade over Hurst as a backup OT, and he'll provide some mentoring to Stanley. Just hope we never have to actually use him since he's almost as injury-prone as Monroe lol.
