Didn't help that Tip died twice on that final run and left Dingo and I to duo Skulls. If he lived for either of them, it's an easy kill.

Have you guys tried the two in, 4 out method yet? Had some crazy success with that the other day. If you've got 2 above average slayers (once again you want your best person on right, I took left side when we did it and just helped right as much as I could), you have them stay in throne and they can handle psions+adds with relative ez. Then you have 4 people for skulls and you can get 100+ stacks easy, even easier if you've got 2 warlocks. You can 1 phase Calus no problem as long as you don't have any idiots and odds of dying in rift to psions is much lower with 4 people shooting them down. If you've got people who aren't great, have them use cold heart, for people who know what they're doing, AR/SMG + Rockets for platform 1/4, hit those tethers on 1/4 with empowering on 1/4 as well. Your top DPS guys will do 1.1-1.4 in a single round with the lower end guys with mediocre aim hitting 700-900k, still more than enough to 1 phase him. It's pretty effective if you've got good enough people to hold throne, but the right side job really is a fucking bitch. I haven't tried it and I'm not sure I could handle it, left is already enough of a bitch at times lol. I didn't have tether subclass when I was running it though, which makes it wayyyy harder. I'll have it next week when I do it and I'm sure it'll be much easier in the throne this time around.

Just something to consider. From what I've experienced, the majority of the wipes come from people fucking up in the rift. Being able to phase him down quicker, minimize the chances of death by psions, is just a win win. Less time in that bullshit/glitched ass shit, means less chance of some stupid bugged bullshit happening and the group wiping because they had to guess and they missed.

I'm done defending this game. PvP gets worse everyday. I really enjoyed it at the start but now it is just boring. The key system is rather stupid. Disappointing that classic Bungie fashion, step forward but two steps back.

Just curious, what don't you like about the keys?

I do feel that PvP is getting worse and worse. It's so fucking unbelievably camp happy (even in quick-play), that it's getting pretty fucking painful to play. Either you're the asshole who sits back and waits for people to come around corners, or you're the guy who comes around a corner and runs into 3 people ads waiting for you

The keys disappearing upon reset is really stupid. The game rewards those instead of drops.

Wait the raid keys disappear on reset?

Of course they do lol.... just make sure you use them all.



Just doesn't bother me too much I guess. So far there was only one chest I wasn't able to get to running solo, and I think it'd probably take me hours to get that one. Just gotta know my limitations and know that I need a party member if I'm going to try that bullshit again lol.

I don't know mind them disappearing, I thought for sure they would. I just make sure I go and do all my chests the day of, or the day after finishing up the raid, just depends on when I finish. Doesn't take long to find the chests, I have most that shit memorized now after just 3 trips down there.
