Maryland couldn't break away at all that game. Every time Florida needed a bucket to bring the game back under control, they got it.

We've supposedly had 3-straight top 20 recruiting classes... why are we never ranked or even getting into the NCAA championship? lol

I don't think this team is as good as it was last year, mainly because their team defense is worse--losing Len doesn't help either. Turge is a great recruiter, but i'm a little skeptical of his coaching skills. Maybe getting Seth Allen back in a month or so will help.

I think we can still manage to get a spot in the tourney.

If they keep losing against small-school teams, they won't even make the NIT

An amazing win for Towson today to snag a spot in the FCS championship.

Got off to a 21-0 start.
Stopped them on 3rd and goal to end the half, and the time ran out to end it 21-7 at the half (they could have kicked a fg if they hadn't been tackled inbounds).

2nd half, Towson's starting QB is out.
Washington comes back and takes the lead.
Towson is losing by 10 with ~8 mins left.
Towson scores a TD ~5min left.
Washington is driving down the field, makes it to Towson's 30 yard line, they decide to go on 4th down.
Washington QB overthrows a wide-open WR, Towson takes over on downs with ~2 mins left.
Towson back-up QB just works it downfield, making some clutch throws and scrambling for a couple critical 4th downs.
4th and goal and the 1 yard line, 17 seconds left, no timeouts, Towson calls for a QB sneak. It's Good.
Kickoff, interception to end the game.
Championship-bound baby.

Just hope Towson's starting QB heals up by then. Their backup was clutch, be he can't win a whole game on his own.
