The whole point I was making was that GMs and people in front offices will blatantly lie about things. They'll bring in players on private workouts, that they have zero interest in drafting. They wont even meet, or have a workout with guys they plan on drafting the whole time. This time of the season is one huge game of chess.
It actually baffles me how similar the NFL draft is to a fucking political campaign. All the dancing around, lying and efforts to keep all serious activities clandestine

All I know is that if you guys take Jack, and his knee implodes in the next couple years, you will never hear the end of it from me. The shade thrown will be legendary.
In all seriousness though, the options for the Ravens @ #6 will be plentiful, and I'd rather take any of the other blue chip prospects over someone with POSSIBLE knee concerns.
I mean, it's not really that bold to say I TOLD YOU SO when a player with "injury concerns" ends up getting hurt. In the same light, try and guess what percentage of NFL players end up on an injury report each season. How many end up missing games? Missing the season? Is it really all that far fetched that a potential starter goes down? Like I said before, the draft is essentially Vegas gambling in Chicago and each team hoping the work they've put in will pay off. For most teams, it won't and several of their picks will be out of the NFL before you can afford another bottle of gin. But the lucky few will have found starters for many seasons to come.
