So I read From an unofficial source that because we went after fiuller our money got tied up with him. So Chicago drag their feet on finalizing the deal so we didn’t have any money to go out and get another CB because of it

Can anyone confirm this, or has anybody else heard anything about it? It would make sense to why we didn’t pursue anybody else other than williams

Honestly you probably misread the article. They matched it almost instantly so there was no money tied up. They were more interested in him knowing they wanted him there long term than they were in messing with GB
