I had the chance to watch Reagor in person when I was sitting front row at the WVU vs TCU game in Morgantown two seasons ago. Looking back, that was the best game of his college career. He burned WVU for 11 catches and 150 receiving yards (even though TCU got smoked that game). Don't let TCU's lack of QB play last season cover what Reagor has the ability to do with someone who can actually get him the ball now in the NFL.
Some fun facts for those that are harping on his lack of production last season:
• In his 3 years at TCU, Reagor had 8 different QBs throwing him the ball. Kenny Hill was the only one that came remotely close to NFL caliber. He went undrafted, signed with the Raiders and was cut a month later.
•Per PFF, Jalen Reagor saw the "fourth-highest rate of off-target passes of any receiver in the country". Just 30.7% of the balls thrown Reagor’s way last season were charted as accurate throws.
Not every WR in college has the luxury of the best QB in the country and the #1 draft pick throwing to them like Jefferson did last season.
he played last year with a freshman qb lol, and they wonder why his stats dropped
im definitely on the fence with this pick, they CANNOT afford another bust at wr from the draft. when they started announcing reagors name I legit was like wait wtf who? then I saw how high the eagles were on him, look some highlight tapes up. kid can play. he is a lil smaller then I would have liked, but im confident in his ability
but if he busts, Howie needs to consider new drafting strategies lol.
