I don't like the medical reports that have come out this week. Seems like he's ok for the short term, but his knee could blow up at any time. He's ridiculously talented, but I have no interest of spending a top 10 pick on somebody who could be retired in three or four years.

lmao.

All of a sudden, mysterious medical reports come out 2 weeks before the draft. Surely no team like the Giants, or somebody else in the early-mid teens would anonymously leak some worries about his medical, in hopes it could help drop him in the draft. Possibly right into one of their spots?

It's lying season right now.

Oh definitely, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if the reports were completely baseless. I wouldn't, however, spin the chamber on that gun with the #6 overall pick.

You trust your medical staffs, period. That's what the teams pay them guys for.

The long term worry with Jack's knee would be arthritis. You're nuts if you think any doctor, or somebody else in a medical field didn't already know about that possible outcome, damn near right after the injury happened.

My outside and uninformed opinion is that there's more smoke to the worries, rather than truth. I don't doubt there's some truth to it, but maybe not quite as much as the "reports" are leading on. We'll know in less than 2 days just how serious teams think it is.

LOL. That's what nearly every draft pick is at that point. Are you kidding? The entire draft itself is a giant gamble, essentially. Your scouts do as much as they can and you bring players in but who the fuck knows what's going to happen. You cannot honestly think that it is a legitimate claim at this point in the offseason. If it were a real issue, it would have been addressed ages ago. It's like a smear campaign being run against an opposing politician. You're trying to sway the odds in your favor by bending the truth.
