I had to get rid of my season tickets due to financial reasons after the end of last season, I've been a season ticket holder since the franchise began.

This is their year to shine, horrible timing, but I had to do it.  :(

that sucks, but at least you've seen about every texans home games since 2002 and i've never seen a texans game live >_>

True. And I'll be able to attend a few games this season for sure, the price of season tickets was just getting higher and higher every year.

I'm going to miss tailgating at almost every game though, the atmosphere outside of Reliant Stadium before games is awesome to say the least(although they changed a lot of rules this past year after the fights following the Cowboys game).

If we live up to the expectations this season, you should definitely try to attend at least one game. Or do you live too far away for that to be a possibility? Reliant Stadium is like a 25 minute drive from my house fortunately.

Yeah El Campo isn't too far...if I remember correctly I drove through it on my way to Corpus a few months ago.

My friend and I were planning on going to Port Aransas(really close to Corpus), but we got there and realized it's just a really small, close-knit town, and all the hotels were about a mile away from the beach, and were like 150+ a night, so we just said fuck it and drove another hour to North Padre Island. Would've went to South Padre, but it's like another 6 hours once you get to Corpus.

And yeah, Victoria is right outside of Houston.
