That sounds awesome. Taking Milliner over Fisher wouldn't upset me a bit. Milliner is exactly what Detroit has been waiting for... he isn't a "shut-down" corner, but he'll create a lot of plays that will only fuel our defense's fire. Our defense lives and dies on it's own fuel.

Fisher is who I would draft but Miliner would get a hard look from me.

I've been high on milliner for a while too, but drafting him means that we give up on our previous years draft class. I think we could get fisher or a pass rusher in the first, then a Jonathan banks I'm the second if we really wanted a corner

i dotn really like the idea of giving up on our draft pics past year but they did have there chance and we were awful in the back end

Bentley was playing injured, Greenwood never got to see the field due to injury, and Green was a 6th round pick/rookie that was forced into a starting role and was playing with scrub safeties behind him. Often times defensive backs will show a world of difference from year one to year two so i wouldnt give up on them quite yet

i agree but still most of the fan base is gonna be like OMG WE SUCKED draft another corner or safety please. i had high hopes for ourbackfeild last year but they fell flat on there face with injuries

I'm not saying I would be mad with selecting Milliner; all I'm saying is that i think a pass rusher / offensive line help is a more pressing need at this point. There is a plethora of cornerbacks in this draft

couldnt you say the same for o linemen??? last i knew this draft was flooded with pretty good ones. the DE though idk about

the drop off from joeckel, fisher, johnson is pretty steep in comparison. Those three guys (+Warmack/Cooper @ guard) will be all-pros. There are tons of pass rushers as well. It's nice that our biggest positions of need are pretty stacked this year.

In the end, I would like us to trade down to gather more picks and acquire more talent (like what the patriots do every single year) rather than selecting any one guy at 5
