Not a Ravens super fan of anything, but it was good to see the team play so hard. Even Jernigan was going hard in the 4th, Harbaugh knows how to motivate.

Feel like an asshole when I say I'd rather watch them tank for better picks. Was kind of happy when the Browns just had to kick the FG, but that ending was too awesome. Worth the fucked up picks to see it.

Also that benjamin td = RIP fantasy for the year  lost by 2.

Doesnt seem like a lot of hype in this years draft class. Just early still ?

Think ozzie will use the high pick or trade down?

Because it felt too weird to watch a Ravens game rooting for us to lose, I didn't even watch the game last night.

Not only did we win, but I also missed one of the best games of the year.

Fuck this season so hard.

Regarding the draft, there are only like 3 players I really consider blue-chip, can't miss prospects: LT Laremy Tunsil, CB Vernon Hargreaves III, FS Jalen Ramsey.
After that you've got some solid players like DE/OLB Joey Bosa (who is probably overhyped), DE/OLB Emmanuel Ogbah, OT Ronnie Stanley, DE Robert Nkemdiche, maybe Laquan Treadwell (although he's a late-teens pick imo).

I would like to see Oz either trade up for one of those top-3 picks (especially LT Laremy Tunsil, considering we REALLY need a LT, and finding one in FA is nearly impossible). Or trade back and amass picks and fill more holes.

It's a shame that there aren't any great QBs in this class. As it stands now, there aren't really any QBs worth a top-5 pick unless someone reaches for one. Having some good QB prospects would obviously push the positions we actually need down to us.

He's on a 1-year deal, but he is due a $1 mil bonus if he plays 10% of the snaps. This bonus is reflected the following season as a cap hit commensurate to that amount (that's how all bonuses are paid I think).

That's why it matters if he plays another game this season. If we bench him, we could potentially save $1 mil next season.

You can find his contract details (among all other players) at Over the Cap dot com http://overthecap.com/player/matt-schaub/1677/

Why would they bench a qb who has won 100% of his games this year when Baltimore is squarely in the hunt at 2 games back in the wildcard race? The tank was in effect when flacco was the qb obviously because they were hoping to draft a qb high, but now that terrance westgod is getting more snaps, the legend of will hill is becoming a reality, and former pro-bowler Matt schaub is at the helm, the team is playing inspired football and is poised to make a playoff push

I don't think it's realistic to keep pursuing a WC, but I guess anything is possible.

Really Clausen isn't a step down from Schaub, who should have lost that game with his pick at the 50 yd like /w a minute left. If we had lost that game, I can almost guarantee Schaub is benched. Browns gave that game away.

Trestman knows and trusts Clausen from his days at Chicago. He knows his system. He may not start next week, but I'm sure Clausen gets to play some games later on. He might be our backup for 2016 and forward.

Would also make a trade down a lot more valuable.

Yeah... but there are teams above us probably thinking the same.

Personally, I think we beat the Dolphins this week and drop into the teens. They are unabashedly tanking by firing their OC, so no one in that locker room even cares. Harbs still has our guys fired up to win somehow.
