Found this post interesting (from Ravens official site). Basically MNF is a must-lose for the Ravens to get a good pick.

Scenario One: Ravens Win, Improve to 4-7:

Eagles and the Dolphins would end up with the same SOS as us at .463. The next tie is Conference Record. Eagles are 3-6, Dolphins are 2-6, with a win over Cleveland our conference record improves to 3-5. Meaning the Dolphins would pick 6th, Eagles 7th followed by us picking 8th. So we were picking fourth entering the week, a win would drop us 4 spots in the order to 8th.

Scenario Two: Ravens Lose, fall to 3-8:

The Tennessee Titans would have the first overall pick at 2-9 then a five team log jam at 3-8. By virtue of our SOS, we would be picking second overall, followed by the Browns, Chargers, Cowboys then 49ers.

So we either leave MNF with the second overall pick or the eighth overall pick.

Welp, that was exciting.

Also ruined our draft position. With the Phins firing their OC they seem to be going full tank mode as well, so we actually have a good chance to beat them, as we always have under Harbaugh (like 6-0 vs Dolphins?).

I guess maybe someone like Ogbah might be in play for where we're picking. Tunsil, VH3, and Ramsey will all be gone. Maybe Stanley could be a decent pick too. Good in pass-pro, no push in the run game.

/Also happy for Urban he could have such a big play in his first career game.

Interesting to note Schaub will receive a 1 mil bonus (which will be incurred as a cap penalty next season) if he plays 10% of the season's snaps. I'm sure Ozzie would rather not pay this if possible.

The cap issue, Schaub's shit play, and the fact that Clausen knows Trestman's system... I wonder if Schaub will play next week.

How can we botch this season more?

Can't the front office just dictate that it's time we get non vets and border roster players out there... Nn to win any additional games, not that the draft class is stellar
