BOB recruited Hackenberg, and he's probably going to be a low 1st/early 2nd round pick in 2016.

QB isn't really the issue though, since Dwayne Haskins (4 star recruit) is committed to UMD regardless of who coaches for some reason.

The real challenge will be getting back guys like Trayvon Diggs (Stefon Diggs' younger brother). A lot of our possible recruits are tied to OC and interim head coach Mike Locksley, but he's not 100% coming back--it'll depend on who is HC.

Hackenberg is gonna' be the biggest NFL bust since Jimmy Clausen. He's awful.

I am a little upset that Diggs has been so good in the NFL, because Maryland is only good for spit takes and lol's.

Hackenberg will probably bust. He sounds like a crappy leader.

Doesn't really matter how good of a leader you are if you can't fucking throw downfield with basic accuracy.

Well anyway, congrats to your Hawkeyes (in football). I'm still not sure if they're a legit contender, but I root for them nonetheless.

You know what I think is hilarious? The Hawks run a system that was "accomplished" (i.e. beaten to death) twenty years ago, but because Kirk is a better coach than everybody else it still works. One of the reasons I hate college is part of the reason the Hawkeyes are winning this year.

Viva La fullback.

So I shamelessly made a thread about this in the Ravens official team website forum, but it is increasingly important to vote for our former Ravens for the pro-bowl this year, especially Pernell McPhee.

Comp. picks are tradable now, so they are more valuable than ever. Getting McPhee into the probowl could be the difference between a 3rd and a 4th round comp. pick.

/also, this is random, but it just occurred to me I could still win a small share of the jsp SB winner pool if the Ravens get the #1 overall pick rofl.

What would you guys think about bringing Q back this offseason? He's a FA (not sure if restricted or not), and San Fran is a hot mess. He loved playing for the Ravens. I think it would be a perfect fit for everybody.

If Smity and Boldin both came back it would really take pressure off drafting offense. It's not like Q is in decline. He never was a speed guy anyway.

McPhee has been a monster. Wish we still had him. :(

Too expensive obviously, but man it would have been nice to have him sans Suggs.

I think FO/coaching doesn't want him back (if they did, they could have extended him after the SB), but his contract looks like vet. minimum for the next 3 seasons, so I could see them making a very small trade.

Why? Q loved the Ravens and it was reciprocated from all I was able to see. Frankly, I think Ozzie got a little too cute after the SB and tried to trade an old(er) player before he hit the wall. I think it's pretty obvious now Q is going to be able to produce at a high level until he retires. If he can have back to back 1k seasons with Colin Kaepercan't throwing him the ball I think he's still good to go.

And if SSS came back he wouldn't even have to be the #1.

They got rid of most of their strong personalities after the SB: Boldin, Reed, Pollard, (and Ray retired). Seemed like they didn't want him, but that was just my interpretation.

But I wouldn't rule it out. Fits a need, has experience /w Joe, cheap, insurance for if SSS sucks.

I really want us to draft someone though.

Actually who I would rather have than Boldin is Garcon if he's cut by 'skins. He's younger and very reminiscent of Boldin. Vjax wouldn't be bad either.
