Yo, Blackhole, please stop posting those lists of players who have worn the numbers. It's annoying as fuck and it just makes this thread super long. Nobody reads those lists so it's pretty much just spam. It's the middle of free agency, so we should be using this to talk about free agents.

I would agree that at least Pryor deserves more time to show what he's got, but I don't know that the administration, or anyone else for that matter, agrees. The more we make moves in FA, the more drafting a QB looks like the play that Oakland will make.

It seems to be consensus among local media that the Raiders are going to trade Pryor before training camp starts.

I've heard reports saying that we're going to be playing Saffold at LT, and I've seen reports that we're keeping him at Guard.

Anyone know the actual plan with him as of right now?

I have no idea one way or the other, but this is just my guess.

Unless we've completely given up on Menelik Watson (2nd rounder LAST YEAR) or we're paying 30 million dollars to Howard to be a back up, Saffold should play LG.

God I hope not, he was such a joy to watch and really one of 4 good things last season...the other three being our new punter, King; Rashad Jennings (gone); Veldheer (gone); and our run defense (3/4 DL gone).



So far he's seriously cocked this up. I'd be of a mind to fire him right now and get a new guy before FA ends.
