Honestly, I think the Raiders were as surprised as the Ravens were that they won that game, judging from the postgame reactions.
In week 1 our offense does nothing while our defense holds Denver's offense to 4 really long fieldgoals, basically stuffs their run game, and sacks/pressures Manning all day.
In week 2 our offense has almost 500 total yards while our defense allows about 450 yds, generates no pass rush whatsoever, and misses easy tackles all day.
It's like Pees spent all his effort focusing on Week 1 /w exotic blitzes and stuff, and then completely overlooks the Raiders because we have a divisional game next week. He did not blitz at all; just rushed 3 and dropped into weak-ass zone coverage. He had our cover guys inexplicably giving up the line-to-go on 3rd down on numerous plays, which I guess isn't all that unusual because that's what Pees does, but it's still frustrating. It's like watching Mattison circa 2010.
