FA market for receivers is not worth mentioning. FA pass-rushers worth mentioning are Freeney and Jason Babin.

None of our WRs or TEs got much separation today. Flacco didn't have time to throw (our deepest pass was like 20 yards). Like you said, Denver has maybe the best defense in the NFL, especially their secondary and pass rush. And we had Hurst at LT. I think it won't get much harder than what we faced today. Perriman will hopefully be back in a few weeks to stretch opposing defenses.

Freeney is probably shot, but Jason Babin was still pretty good last time I saw him play (last year? two years ago?).

And just as a side observation, does any other team in the league besides Denver have two blue chip pass rushers AND two blue chip cover corners? I can't think of any off the top of my head. Man, that's scary.

It will be funny though when they inevitably lose in the postseason and Peyton riders can't blame his def rofl

Peyton looked pretty average today. They will not do anything late in the season.

Denver not only has 2 good CBs, but even their 3rd CB, Roby, looks really good in only his 2nd season. Add in that Ward was suspended. And whichever safety they had on our TEs today was playing great coverage. Denver's defense may be #1; only weakness is at ILB.

Danny Trevathan and that other dude aren't all that bad either. Seriously scary D.

I'm not Ganna lie... I'm a little worried. Granted it was Maxx Williams first game, so gotta let him settle in. But that run game has to work to set the play action. Without that play action this year we won't be getting any offense going this season. The WR couldn't get anything going. Line couldn't protect Flacco long enough to set his feet and throw the ball.


Entire offense just looked like trash

Wouldn't be surprised if he's cut in a few weeks due to sucking.

I'd be satisfied if he simply pushes 4th round rookie Za'Darius Smith to earn more playing time. He's a better rusher, just terrible vs the run.
