Well, while there isn't much to make the Suggs news any better, if we can stay in contention until Urban gets off IR we will have a decent shot. He should provide a boost to our pass rush.

I just broke the glass on the "Terrell Suggs Season Ending Injury" box of emergency Gin I keep on the wall next to the fire extinguisher.

Pees actually did a good job disguising his blitzes today, especially those delayed ILB blitzes. Once Jernigan gets back we should still have an above-average pass rush. Getting Urban back in like week 10 will help too.

KLM also did a good job pushing the pile on Canty's sack. That was a good thing to see; hopefully he can keep getting better.

I'm not hitting the panic button on the O yet as I think Denver might have the best defense in the league this year, but our wideouts might be more of a concern than I originally thought.

I thought everyone was overblowing our lack of established receivers because I actually thought Marlon and Aiken and Camp e.t.c. had potential, but I'm not so sure. Can't really judge off this game as Flacco had absolutly no time to work with, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried.

I also feel a veteran signing coming from Ozzie. Anybody know the FA market for receivers? It can't be that great....
