a)Save us money so we can get new players to fill voids
b)revamp an o-line that is long overdue
c)allow Reiff/Fox/Hilliard to step up

backus was solid. we will miss his ability to play every game and his leadership and experience. he was never great but he seemed to get better with experience. with that being said I love our offseason so far.

I respect what he's done for the organization but he definitely struggled at times the past 2 years or so. Good to hear he's retiring.
