You balance the pro's and con's though. With the season GB is going to have there's no point in him giving his all when there's virtually no chance of success. You go to a team that can go the distance you won't mind putting a little more in since the pro's now outweigh the con's.

GB being a petty bag of dicks is only if you're taking his word as the truth though. Seem to be overlooking the fact that neither the team nor Marty is telling the full truth here.

People are less than believable I agree but the fact is GB as an organization aren't being honest either and that alone tells us quite a bit. When organizations try to do cryptic stuff like that it's usually because they have something to hide.

Like I said - the truth is somewhere in the middle. I really don't even care that he immediately decided to put off the surgery to play for NE. The only thing that bothers me is he unnecessarily dragged the doc through the mud for it.

I agree he shouldn't have done that at this time, he atleast should've waited til he retired (or at the end of this season whichever comes first) and than just go all out. No point of doing it mid season it's just a distraction for both teams.

Yeah and I can agree with that completely. There's no reason to do that to the doctor, unless it's true. Which who knows probably isn't.
