Even odder that he's going to coach both sides of the ball

Your favorite player couldn't even say Patriots

"Incredible support I've had from....uh...you know...all the....you know....the team I used to play for"

BB isn't the grumpy one, believe me

Bad take

I'm so sick of hearing about how bill was the reason tom left.

Brady will forever be one of my favorite players if not my favorite but it's not like he was phenomenal the past 2 seasons w us

Honestly better for us that we didnt spend the money on him and better for tom that he is on anotber team that could (and now will) compete for a super bowl

Imagine we loaded Brady for another 2 years.. We would be absolute shambles when hes gone, rather than now where we have a young talented team missing a handful of pieces (one being qb) to be super competitive again

I don't believe Bill has said "Tom" or "Brady", which is worse. Bill went the whole year licking Cam's asshole after never talking up Brady. The pettiness is at another level.

Imagine believing the narrative that Bill sold out for the super bowls and that's why the team is bad now. Stop drinking the kool-aid.

Bill is a control freak, could not give an ounce to Brady. While Bill is making more than Brady ever did in New England and has both of his son's on the coaching staff.

Bill is still the greatest coach of all time of the defensive side of the ball, can't take that away from him. But Kraft needs to reel him in right now.

You didnt even respond to what I said which makes me think rather than reading it, you kept on with your anti belichick narrative. I never said anything about selling out and thats why we're bad now, on the contrary I said I'm glad we didn't pay Brady because now we have capital for the future.

Idk how you can be upset about that.

Brady is gone, get over it and cheer him on in the superb owl.

Why are the Bucs able to pay Brady and make the Super Bowl? But not the Patriots?

Paying Brady and keeping him doesn’t make a damn difference when it comes to the future. Your future isn’t going to be built through FAcy it’s going to be through the draft, and paying Brady wouldn’t handicap that.

I have far less faith in the development of the next QB without Brady being there. Time and time again in the league guys benefit greatly from sitting behind a vet or a year or two, especially if that vet is the GOAT.

Put it this way, the Patriots didn’t even offer him a contract. Bill wanted him out.

Doing that meant $13.5M in dead cap. The Bucs gave him $27.85M a year for two year. If you just offer him what the Bucs did then that’d only be another $14.35M on the cap for a substantial upgrade at QB. Then you have his cap hit for ‘21 where you have a bunch of freed cap.

Could have easily done it, and been in the playoffs this season. They weren’t going to win a Super Bowl regardless. But you have to draft better and have actual weapons on offense.
