You can prove me wrong, but I don't believe there was as it was talked about as a poor deal at the time due to his age and being 3 years.

Not an opt out but it wouldn't have hurt too bad

I mean that doesn't show an opt out like your response implied. It's team friendly due to ability to cut him early but that's not the same thing.

I'm sorry I couldn't remember all the details of a contract from 3+ years ago. Please forgive me

"I'm going to accuse you of being wrong by saying Peppers had an opt out. Oh I was wrong? I'm going to be sarcastic about it."

Ok then.

I am finally on the fire capers train. Its time to cut the rope... They were given the benefit of the doubt last year but not this year.

15 days to prepare for a divisional opponent and we can't even get them to punt once? 1 sack against a QB who has hit the floor more times than i can count in the last 3 weeks? 3rd down conversion distances and percentage allowed was the worst I've seen in my life. At this point, it's both scheme and personnel. For targeting defense high in the draft so many years in a row, it's fucking baffling how awful our defense really is. I've got nothing left for Capers. Give someone else a shot to fix up the D for the 2nd half of the season. Can't be much worse than last night. No identity, no synergy and everyone looked like they looked worse prepared than I've seen in a long time... After a 15 day break.

Was saying this to my roommate last night. It's brutal to watch.
