- Carroll expects left tackle Russell Okung to have a "real chance" of returning to practice this Friday. Okung, on the team's Injured Reserve/Designated to Return list, could comeback for the team's Week 11 game against the Minnesota Vikings at the earliest.

- Carroll described right tackle Breno Giacomini as day-to-day in his recovery from knee surgery. "I would think by next week he would be pretty active in what's going on," he said.

Really hoping these guys can stay healthy and get back on the field quickly, we desperately need them back
