You were LOL

Lets not get too high but I am hoping for 8-8 or a miracle 9-7
Might not be enough to get in but I just want to see them improve game by game

Cam needs to show us more in the passing game...Im not expecting it against the Texans since they are the worst run defense in the league, so I really hope we just smash them in mouth all game
Need big games from Thuney and Mason again

9-7 is not making the playoffs with how stacked the AFC is this year

I'm not even necessarily talking about this season

Im just saying we have SO many pieces to a great team already on the roster, many I didn't mention as well, and everyone is going to just continue to get better and better

I agree with you though
Were just realizing that 75% of the fan base just enjoyed the winning
I for one am enjoying scoreboard watching and the fact that game matters. In previous years, games honestly never mattered until AFC championship lmao....

But speaking about lack of talent and people saying BB cant find young talent......Onwenu?? I mean, this kid a fucking STUD. 6th round pick LG having no problems playing RT...best offensive rookie? but obviously doesn't have the impact of a Joe Burrow, but what a find

Too early to say that he can cement himself into that position but set for years to come with Wynn and Onwenu at the tackle positions.
Mason locked up...re-sign Thuney and Andrews and the line is set for the next 3-4 years, hopefully

I was watching First Take this week and Max made some interesting points.

Cam played poorly the two weeks after he returned with covid. Perhaps his play was actually impacted by its lingering effects. It does seem to have mild effects on some people, but that would certainly be enough to impact a highly stressful athletic activity.

Outside of those two games, the Patriots have actually been a good team. Close losses to SEA and BUF. A game against the Chiefs that was competitive for most of it. If the 2-1 team that started the season is the team that the Pats actually are, then with their schedule is seems realistic to make the playoffs. Basically they just have to beat the Bills and Dolphins. If they do that.

I don't believe it was covid lingering effects. I think it had a lot more to do with Bill not being able to have his team at practice. It's a very limited the offense is + Cam Newton still learning the system/timing with WRs.....a 3 week break fucking destroyed whatever chemistry was built

Slowly looking better game by game and Cam DEF is starting to buy into being a game manager
