Perriman may have "clocked" in at 4.25 at his pro day, but he doesn't play at that speed. He's basically a 4.4 guy and a Torrey clone imo.
From what I've seen he doesn't play 4.24, and your assessment is pretty accurate. He'll have a play or two where he blows down the field on a go route, but he doesn't play over the middle or double moves at that speed. Fortunately we have a QB who has The Dragon to get it to him on an 80 yard pass.

I still like his size over Torrey's, and ESPECIALLY his catch radius. When he actually catches things, he fucking pulls that shit out of the air no matter where it was thrown, and he doesn't seem to mind taking a hit. That was one of the most frustrating things about Torrey, he didn't fight for catches, and he wouldn't go over the middle.
