Strangely enough, winning the division at 10-6 might have become the easier path to the postseason. The Bills do not have a history of finishing seasons strong. Only once during the Belichick era have the Bills managed a winning record in the second half of the season, which was quite awhile ago in 2004. If the Bills manage to slide into a 10-6 finish with losses to the Pats and Dolphins, they could be in a position to lose the tiebreaker to the Pats at that record.
