We gave Diehl ABSOLUTELY zero help with Freeney even though he was getting abused all game. never once called a screen as you mentioned.. you know the play that's designed to relieve some pressure of a pass rush?
Play calling was atrocious... painfully ignorant and predictable... you don't get a 9 yard gain then go pass pass. Countless times he would run when we should of passed and vice versa. Killdrive warrants the name again.. he is terrible and has been overshadowed by Eli & our receivers.. he has to go after this year

I understand. But its basically saying that you have to tailor your defense to try to keep up with Peyton's offense as opposed to you letting your defense try to dictate the pace of the game.
We didn't win the superbowl by trying to cover the Patriots high flying attack. We won by disrupting the timing by doing what our defense does best. Which is playing hard nosed football.
