would have rather davante adams didnt get the 30yd+ catch and TD so I could have forgotten about the parlay sooner

The thing that gets me is the "let's kick a field goal and try an onside kick garbage". Never going to work. You score the TD(go for two) and then kick the onside not the other way around and not after Fairbarn missed two field goals already...

Would've been a Mixon/Dell TD instead it was a short donker field goal and then an "rip onside kick to adams". Good strategy Cotton

As an NFL fan I'd have rather seen the Texans try and score a TD and fail on 4th down then do what they did there. Not good for team morale when your at the other teams goal line and you elect to kick a field goal knowing damn well you ain't getting that onside kick....

There is zero chance they'd have been in a better position to score a TD - at least going for the TD in this scenario gives them a LOT more of a chance to get a couple yards to make the field goal attempt easier. (assuming they recovered the onside kick)
