Terez Hall, called up today, led the LBs in snaps....

Nick Thurman and Tashawn Bowyer starting........

PLEASE use the cap space next year ffs

Cam Newton is the first QB in the Super Bowl era with 8 rush TD in his first 7 games played in a season. Can we get some passing TDs though?

We got so many holes now I don't even know what to try and fix. Hopefully next year will get our players back and be competitive defensively, but I don't see us fixing the offensive woes in a single season, not even close.

playing for pride at this point. If the Pats had given the Jets their first win, then the Pats would have been dipping their toes in "butt fumble territory" regarding levels of embarrassment. Obviously it wouldn't have been as bad as butt fumble, but it would be getting there. Now, there's a chance of finishing 8-8 which would actually feel like some decency was salvaged.

You almost lost to the jets. Nothing to salvage there

For how shambles our team is we have been competitive in most of the games this season, which says something alone. We're undefeated w a healthy, full roster no doubt in my mind

Projecting potential playoff scenarios:

The Pats would need to get hot and a bunch of the other wildcard contenders need to go into a tailspin. Very unlikely to happen. But, just for fun...

It's likely that at least one 9-7 team will make the playoffs. The Pats would need to finish 6-2 to get there, then hope for tiebreakers.

The non-division leaders with winning records are: Dolphins, Browns, Colts, Raiders, Ravens.

As of now, the Patriots hold the tiebreaker against the Raiders and Dolphins. Any scenario in which the Pats made the playoffs would almost require them to beat the Dolphins again, so we'd have that tiebreaker.

The Ravens will claim the tiebreaker this week. No big deal really as they will end up well above 9-7 anyway and take one of the WC spots.

2 of the Pats' losses have been to NFC opponents. The Colts and Browns have 0 losses against NFC opponents, so if it came down a tiebreaker against them, the Pats would actually be in a decent position for the tiebreaker against them (in record vs. conference opponents).

The back end of the Pats schedule does feature some winnable games. Say we lose to the Bills and Ravens but win the other 6. That actually makes it possible. We'd just need two of the other 4 teams (Dophins, Browns, Colts, Raiders) to fall apart.

There are still Patriots fans? Guess it will take a season or two for the bandwagon to empty. Mostly pink hatters

I'm just trying to understand how they'll even figure out which holes need to be filled because he isn't letting the young guys play....

Why is Uche, Dugger and Jennings getting less snaps and Trez Hall and called up dlinemen?

Winovich basically benched the last 3 games when he may be the best pure pass rusher on the team.....we couldn't TOUCH Flacco....the kid should be on the field EVERY snap

BB needs to swallow his ego

Outside of the offensive line and some secondary pieces, everything needs to be addressed...
