Nice offensive personnel lmaoo
Still had chance to win every single game outside of the 49ers game DESPITE everything that has happened and how bad the team has looked + lack of personnel everywhere
Few holes to fill but PLENTY of cap room next year
Ill panic next year if they blow once the actually try to add to the roster
Bill's the GM.. That offensive personnel is on him. Nobody else you can blame.

find me another team who lost [prior to season start, not due to injury]:
starting tackle
starting defensive signal caller
starting safety
starting fullback (in which our offense flowed through prior to develins retirement, we pick up vitale and he opt outs)
hate all you want but we're not panicking, only people who are are those desperate to see their success end for aforementioned reasons
We lost half of our DL and a few guys in the Secondary before the season even started due to opt outs and retirements because of covid. One of them was literally forced into retirement because of it. It effected a bunch of teams all over the league, not just you guys.

He wanted a multi-year contract, NE wasn't going to give him anything but year-to-year at this point, that's what broke it. I'm sure us refusing to draft/grab weapons for him was a factor, but that wasn't the breaking point.
That's exactly what it is lol. Everyone is so ecstatic that we're having a bad year that they're jumping onto the NE failure wagon WAY too quick. We got some more rings the last time we were "completely finished and done for", so I'm okay with the hate. That being said, unless we draft miraculously, I don't see us being real contenders for a bit, but we can still win the division.
There's a massive difference between "last time" and this time. You guys don't have Tommy anymore, which makes this whole thing completely different. He carried a bunch of below average/average at best rosters for a long, long time.
Bill is an incredible Defensive mind though. I don't doubt that he'll continue to field/build a solid Defense in the coming years, because that's his specialty. Offense will be a different story though.
