Damiere Byrd: 65 snaps
Jakobi Meyers: 65 snaps
Ryan Izzo: 49 snaps
Gunner Olszewski: 41 snaps
Rex Burkhead: 32 snaps
James White: 31 snaps
Damien Harris: 20 snaps
Jakob Johnson: 17 snaps
Isaiah Zuber: 5 snaps

Nice offensive personnel lmaoo

Still had chance to win every single game outside of the 49ers game DESPITE everything that has happened and how bad the team has looked + lack of personnel everywhere

Few holes to fill but PLENTY of cap room next year
Ill panic next year if they blow once the actually try to add to the roster

i'm in agreeance

everybody but the patriots and the patriot fans seem to be writing them off

same story we have heard forever

everyone is just excited to jump at the chance to bash us for the first time because they're horribly jealous of the success, or upset at the lack of their own team's success

there is no reason to shout "OMG PATRIOTS ARE OVER LOL"

My man, stop acting like you guys were the only team with opt outs and injuries. You guys have literally nothing at QB and not much talent across the board. Bill really isn't that good at drafting either.

Ya'll are basically starting at the bottom and have been way too spoiled with Brady. Reality is about to hit you guys real hard when it comes to finding an even half way decent QB.

This how I feel about it too.. tired of people complaining their team is missing people like every other team isn't also missing key players. The pats had a good run.. one of the best if not the best in nfl history. Just be happy about it. Probably wont ever happen again so you get to claim that accolade., no dynasty lasts forever.

find me another team who lost [prior to season start, not due to injury]:

starting tackle
starting defensive signal caller
starting safety
starting fullback (in which our offense flowed through prior to develins retirement, we pick up vitale and he opt outs)

hate all you want but we're not panicking, only people who are are those desperate to see their success end for aforementioned reasons

Which fan is happy with their team losing? This is some dumbass logic. Well, you won before, you best just accept that you suck and never hope to be good again :bonk: .

Our defense has been OUSTANDING the last few years and those few pieces have decimated it lol, what other teams had their multiple of their best players on one side of the ball opt out. Finding a new QB is going to be difficult, it always is, but I still think we can work our way back to moderately successful 9-10 wins with a game manager. While BB does not draft all that well, he games free agency better than anyone, and I've got nothing but faith in his ability to make this a winning team again. If it doesn't happen, if he swings for the fences and we get fucked, I'm fine with it, but we're not done yet, not even remotely because of one bad season.

we draft defense very well

it's skill positions he struggles with when drafting typically (wr most notable ofc)

Honestly expected the pats to draft dk last year.

Wonder if Brady stays if he was paired with him.
Offense looked decent first half of last year when gordon was still there, really unfortunate that Demaryius got cut after AB signing. Then both AB and gordon gone shortly after.

Cam playing for his job rn. Would they even consider tanking this year? Idk

He wanted a multi-year contract, NE wasn't going to give him anything but year-to-year at this point, that's what broke it. I'm sure us refusing to draft/grab weapons for him was a factor, but that wasn't the breaking point.

That's exactly what it is lol. Everyone is so ecstatic that we're having a bad year that they're jumping onto the NE failure wagon WAY too quick. We got some more rings the last time we were "completely finished and done for", so I'm okay with the hate. That being said, unless we draft miraculously, I don't see us being real contenders for a bit, but we can still win the division.

Bill's the GM.. That offensive personnel is on him. Nobody else you can blame.

We lost half of our DL and a few guys in the Secondary before the season even started due to opt outs and retirements because of covid. One of them was literally forced into retirement because of it. It effected a bunch of teams all over the league, not just you guys.

There's a massive difference between "last time" and this time. You guys don't have Tommy anymore, which makes this whole thing completely different. He carried a bunch of below average/average at best rosters for a long, long time.

Bill is an incredible Defensive mind though. I don't doubt that he'll continue to field/build a solid Defense in the coming years, because that's his specialty. Offense will be a different story though.

Bruh, you lost your two oldest players, we literally lost our best players... No other teams had their BEST players opt out lol, it's not even comparable when talking about the amount of talent that was out prior to the season from NE versus anywhere else. Injuries sure, there have been plenty of injuries since the season has started that add up or equal more, but pretending you losing older players that you had replacements for is the same thing, is just laughable.

e: No one thinks replacing TB is going to be easy or that this is the exact same thing as it's always been. Myself and everyone else here just think it's a bad joke when everyone's acting like we're going to be a dumpster fire, when we're clearly missing a HUGE component of our defense that helped cover up the flaws of our offense (even with TB). If Cam doesn't straight lose three games for us, we're in the lead of the division right now lol. I understand finding a decent QB is going to be hard, but there are plenty of people with game manager potential under the right scheme that'll plug into this team, especially if we can add a playmaker or two.

It's just not over yet and it's silly to pretend it is.

You had 3 opt outs total...

i think it's a real possibility

tanking this year for a cant miss talent player, getting key players back, and having the most cap of any team next year (softer schedule may help a bit too) would be huge for us

bill is gonna find a way for us to lose to the jets twice and it's gg
