Jimmy better step up his game with this extension. I expected much better of him coming out of college.

Much better than basically being the best corner in the NFL for the first 8 games last season?
He really just needs to stay healthy.

Also, our schedule has been released:

I just feel he gets beat more often then he should, I know he has the talent to cover almost any wr some games he just doesn't bring it all to the table imo.

Lol @ oh wow we made the playoffs cu, that's how I felt last year.

Glad Oz worked out an extension with Jimmy, and at an affordable rate too. 4 year extension, $48 mil total, $21 mil guaranteed. He was a total shutdown corner last season while he was healthy, just have to hope he comes back strong.

Also peeked at the schedule. Brutal start. Hopefully week 1 @ Denver goes better than last time  They had better hope they start out the season generally healthy.

Who have y'all got on your most-wanted for the draft?

I've talked myself into liking Peters the most. Melvin Gordon might be cool too if he fell, since there is the connection with our RB coach working with him at Wisc., plus he would fit our ZBS pretty well, and the value would be good (despite the decreased value of RBs). Randy Gregory could free-fall, but I doubt he makes it into the 20s, certainly not past Pitt or Cincy--he'd be worth a gamble though, since he is just too talented on the field.

Strong and/or Kevin Johnson are alright too, but not spectacular value imo. Both would fit our needs though, since Strong is good at those jump balls Flacco likes to throw instead of taking sacks, and Kevin Johnson is good in off-coverage, which Pees uses a lot.

Breshad Perriman is the only player I really don't want in the first. Agholor is also someone I don't want, although I think he is firmly a 2nd round talent anyway.

I'm pretty much on the Gordon train at this point

Perriman had a drop rate of like 13% (looked it up and it was actually 14%), that's the one WR I don't want in the first, period. I don't like the rise of Agholor either. Dorsett's stock rise is a little scary too.
Otherwise I'm fine with basically any other WR with a 1st round grade.

Peters would be cool too.

Needless to say I'm going to homer the shit out of whoever we take in the first even if it's Perriman.
