He's our best edge rusher and has had limited action since his wrist surgery. Wasn't smart of him but dumber things have been done. It's great that you have such expert insight to the game, but your ability to articulate your thoughts is about the same as an elementary school student.

I am aware of your former. And to the latter maybe it's because I was shocked even an NFL player would do things like that, but there's some things you can't teach. As for dumber things have been done, at least recently that's debatable.

Anyway I'll stop being sarcastic through text, since people don't know me well enough to tell whenever I am, despite thinking it's clearly visible given the circumstances.

Agreed. I always hate those plays just because the likelihood of a team scoring is minimal and players tend to not know what to do. Mistakes happen way too often on lateral plays to end the game. And yes, I am also including the chiefs backdoor cover last week off a similar play

Cowboys executed it much better than the redskins

I wonder how stats work in those scenarios

Doesn't matter where that marker is, they don't aim it from the middle of the field so it's irrelevant. Shit you could move it 2 yards backwards and it doesn't do anything. There's a line marker somewhere in the middle of the chains which marks where it is located, that's how you measure with chains.
