Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Packers RB Ty Montgomery’s rib injury is not as bad as Green Bay thought and there’s a chance he could play in Week 5’s game against the Cowboys.

No thanks. Let him heal before it becomes more of a long term injury.

Depends on the type of rib injury, but sometimes it's not a matter of the injury getting any worse, but more so a matter of pain tolerance being the factor of playing or not.

True enough, but I think he could miss time to heal up and be fine. Aaron Jones looked good from what he showed, showed patience and made some good cuts. I'd be okay with him holding it down until then.

Yea I'm not disagreeing with you at all, rib injuries can be some of the most painful injuries.
