Randy can you tell me more about this Marcus Smith?

Seriously, I have no idea who the hell he is. Please tell me he was worth the 1st round pick...

Late 2nd or 3rd rounder in most mock drafts. He's a tweener DE/OLB, doesn't play the run well, but he can rush the passer.

But don't let that hang you up, I mean everyone laughed at the Travis Frederick pick and he worked out fine.

Pretty much what Terps said. He's solid, was just a bit of a reach. Some better pass rushers were there (Ealy was the best) but you'll like Smith. Might not like him as your first but this is an odd draft. It was very front loaded for the first round and then around 17ish it turns into a lot of second round talent but that second round talent lasts until like mid-late third.

Curious as to your thoughts on Bortles or are you waiting to see what else you do before making any judgments like I am?

Ugh it doesn't really help me =\

I heard he used to be a qb and is extremely intelligent on the football field. Heard he had a really good pro day too...

But still, he better shoot lasers out of his eyes or something. So disappointed with this pick. I wish we would have just traded up and gave a third rounder or just draft Dennard with the 22 pick.

I didn't watch any of his film (ESPN3 replays of games) because I don't have time to watch scrubs (and I didn't care much for Pryor) but here's Charlie Campbell's scouting report of him. His scouting reports are always good reads.

Well it seems like he'll fit in with our 3-4, and develope into a real force in a few years.
