How much did they talk Anthem? Did it look like a real competitor?

Microsoft is really disappointing me as of late. They seem to keep acting like we are just going to jump on the Microsoft train because 360 was more popular. It is time for them to understand the real reason they are behind right now and properly battle for the top spot again.

I'm kind of scared by how much it reminds me of the original Destiny E3 trailer. Players dropping into your fireteam spawn on you. The world is extremely open. Cool events to stumble across. I really hope it does well, because this and Destiny pushing each other is exactly what we need.


MS has decided that it's time for a true console war again. Instead of both PS and XB doing exactly what the other does and just trying to buy exclusives, they've gone back to the PS1 N64 days where you have two separate philosophies on gaming. Unfortunately for MS, it doesn't work if you don't have a load of exclusives to support you.

Crackdown 3 is not going to bring anybody to Xbox. As great as XB1X is going to be, people aren't going to drop the PS brand when you can play most XB games on PS but not the other way around.

That is what I mean about the war. They want to wage a war but keeping missing the mark. The console is priced pretty high with little to offer in what the console can do game wise. You buy the console in November and are suppose to be excited about what game when you get it...? I was trying to read your list of games during the press conference and not a single one got me saying to myself "I need the new console because of that." Microsoft seems to miss the point that the announcement needs to come with that moment for everyone. If people can't think of the game they need the console for, they won't feel the excitement to go out and purchase it.

Man Bethesda might have had one of the worst conferences ever. 30 mins when they said 60. All sequels that were known. VR bs and still talking about games from years ago. And they want to do paid mods again. Really showing their true colors with that.

That is some next level bad... even EA wouldn't be that bad on their worst day...

Yeah I thought the image they released a while ago teased a new IP or two for this, but they must have decided against showing them.

Still though - how stupid are they that they think people are going to roll over for paid mods after the disaster that followed last time they did it...



As let down as I was with MS, at least they won't be the worst this year.


Time to see what Ubisoft has I guess. Destiny 2 viewing party in approx 5.5 hours.

D2 will have Quickplay and Competitive modes, Luke Smith tells Game Informer.

Control/Clash/Supreacy will be casual. Comp will be Countdown and an unannounced OBJ mode.
