We're on the wrong side of the tracks to take on a DGB-type case right now. Best leave that to the Browns/Pats/Rams/Jags/Bengals/Raiders etc

I guess Ozzie's offer is on the table then. Ngata pretty much has to take it or leave it.

Ozzie said that they would look to extend KO and Jimmy this off season before they're free agents after next season.

Extending Jimmy is not only important for the future, but it helps for right now, since he is receiving a club option that pays him about 7mil base salary. An extension would lower this number (most likely) and help us get some much-needed cap space.

KO getting an extension would be gravy, but his rookie contract still has him playing for cheap. Ozzie could try to low-ball him and then wait until next year, which seems to be his usual tactic.
