I like how they adjusted and picked up late in the game. Obviously, too little too late, but shows that without a few of our bigger names we can still adjust and play well. At the end of the day, they're still 1-1 and Atlanta is a fuckin good team. I'm not too worried, they'll get it back.

As usual, we're getting killed by injuries. Every damn year.

I fully expect a bounce back next week vs Concinnati. Daniels is such a huge part of the defense and the lack of him showed last night.

That was little more than Rodgers taking full advantage of a relaxed defense who was doing just enough to slow down the offense so the Falcons could slowly close the game out. I appreciate the optimism but it's a little misguided I feel.

This team is having issues with winning individual battles. Our receivers, fairly consistently, seemed to have their routes cut-off and finished by their defensive backs, the offensive line cannot win their individual battles and when they do, they're often penalized. I feel as if we carry around a certain level of predictability on offense, i'm not educated well enough to tell anyone that they've been running the same plays for five years, but i have assumptions we do. We were against the reigning NFC champs in their new stadium but we've got to find a way to play in the first Superbowl at Minnesota's new stadium. i like how king played and the defensive line did well enough, the pressure was there oftentimes however; i was displeased with the level of preparation of our secondary and incapability of making early adjustments on offense.

sounds like we may be signing ricky jean francois again
just a week or so after we cut him
does this mean... daniels' hamstring is a bigger issue than we thought?

He didn't practice today, so maybe... I sure as hell hope not though.

On a side note, Montravious Adams was a full participant in practice today

Can't imagine him missing more than he did when he got the surgery last year. Shit, he was still more of an impact with one arm than clay was with 2 last year.
