Good guy Kyle Long!

https://www.chicagobears.com/news/kyle-long-agrees-to-restructured-contract?fbclid=IwAR06oTAXb2Rneq4PB0HYYpVuDaXATNLFbw1J8EdCXIWBGzA8GNRafy2WgBY

Right guard Kyle Long has agreed to restructure his contract, a move that will benefit both the three-time Pro Bowler and the Bears.

The new deal will free up cap space for the Bears, showing that Long is a team player. The 6-6, 315-pounder will return for a seventh season with the team that selected him with the 20th pick in the first round of the 2013 draft out of Oregon.

Long started the first seven games in 2018 before injuring his foot Nov. 4 in a 41-9 road win over the Bills. He missed eight contests before returning to start the Bears’ regular-season finale in Minnesota and the wild-card playoff loss to the Eagles.

I didn't necessarily want gould back, did you? I'd rather work with an up and comer.
