I can't imagine the egotistical combination of Bmarsh and SS89 lol. That's a lot of head case right there. It's a possibility though, especially if Trestman says he likes him (this is something I have to wonder: does Trestman even like Bmarsh?)

Bmarsh is actually getting kind of old (turns 31 in March). His ego + age might limit what he will receive on the open market.

Although from what I've seen, Chicago has no cap problems, so if they don't mind his ego, they have no reason to release him. If he is released, he won't cost Ozzie a compensatory pick, and you know how important that is.

So I guess it's possible, but again, I'd be pessimistic.

You really ganna talk about being old when out #1 wr was let go since he was too old, and then tore shit up this year

Baltimore has never really had a true #1, although I'm going to assume you're talking about Boldin.

Boldin's skill-set aged well since his game is all about route running, being quick out of his breaks, reliable hands, and being durable. He never had top-end speed and never commanded a double team. Getting old saps your speed, but Boldin never had any to begin with.

Marshall will not age as well as Boldin, since Marshall relies on his speed more than Boldin did to beat defenses. Brandon Marshall was also dealing with injury problems last season (ankle and hamstring) before breaking his ribs; he could be getting injury-prone in his old age, which wouldn't surprise me given his size. Anyone who pays for Marshall is paying for past production at this point in his career.

However, it's all a moot point anyway since Marshall would have to be cut by Chicago, and as of right now, I doubt that happens.

I was referring to sss being let go from panthers, wasn't resigned cuz they didn't think he would be worth resigning at his age

But just having Marshall with or without his speed is still a big body target for flacco to hit.

I'm starting to think Ngata won't be back. Oz will probably roll with Brandon Williams and Jernigan and just take the 8.5 mil in savings from his release. Some other team will give Ngata a decent 5-year deal and pay him more than Oz is willing.

I'm also have a gut feeling that Oz will draft a rush-LB to replace McPhee early, like in the first 3 rounds. It'll be one of those BPA moves that catches us by surprise like Jernigan last year, but it'll still make some sense.

Am i the only one who thinks that drafting Gerod Holliman in the first could be a viable option for us?
A ballhawk is just what we need in our backfield, but he seems like such an excellent tackler as well.

I've watched a bit of tape on him lately, makes a lot of plays where he comes from deep to make a tackle on a RB near LOS for little or no gain, also breaks up a lot of passes.

I haven't had much time to watch draft vids this year, but really any position among CB, WR, OLB, RB, and FS are a distinct possibility in any round. Hill is a RFA, Brooks is an unknown, and beyond that we have a bunch of scrubs.

This is the first draft in a long time where there are like 10+ players around our pick in each round and I like just about any of them lol.

I think the only one I kind of don't like is PJ Williams and Trae Waynes in the first and Agholor in the 2nd.

PJ Williams is phenominal in run support, but kind of grabby and maybe a bit slow to react in coverage. Probably a better zone corner.
Waynes is rangy, but his cotton bowl game left a bad impression for me to carry into the offseason. He looked like Chykie Brown out there, not facing the ball, playing the receiver, late on every play. I liked him more before watching that game lol.
Agholor comes with the stigma of being a USC WR, who have underwhelmed in the NFL the past few years. Plus he has bad hands--fixing bad hands is one of the toughest things to do.
