I don't see it happening. Some other team will overpay him.

We have greater needs and little cap space to address them. TE is kind of a luxury position to fill.

Personally, if we're looking at FA TE's, I'd look at Vernon Davis, who will probably be cut. He could come for cheap after an aberrational year. He could also be done, so who knows.

We could also hope to strike gold in the draft and perhaps target a FA receiver.

I can't imagine the egotistical combination of Bmarsh and SS89 lol. That's a lot of head case right there. It's a possibility though, especially if Trestman says he likes him (this is something I have to wonder: does Trestman even like Bmarsh?)

Bmarsh is actually getting kind of old (turns 31 in March). His ego + age might limit what he will receive on the open market.

Although from what I've seen, Chicago has no cap problems, so if they don't mind his ego, they have no reason to release him. If he is released, he won't cost Ozzie a compensatory pick, and you know how important that is.

So I guess it's possible, but again, I'd be pessimistic.

BMarsh isn't gonna' leave Chicago.
