Game planned around us? This must be your first time watching a Dean Pees bend-but-don't-break defense.

10 yards off coverage is kind of his thing. Rarely does he ever press, especially after losing Jimmy. Webb pressed a little to close out the year, but it's hard to ask inexperienced CBs to press.

You would have been better off repeatedly saying "it's not your fault" like in Good Will Hunting

New England has the most professional offense I have ever seen in my entire life. And they gameplanned against us really well. They recognized our formidable pass rush and countered it with short throw after short throw. Did Tom throw a ball farther than 15 yards all game? Maybe one or two. They were able to beat us before the snap, with their intelligent formations and audibles by Tom.

Honestly, who can stop that offense? Maybe Seattle.

Anyway, I'm frustrated now, but I know ten years down the line I'll remember these contests vs. New England fondly.

One major qualm: the 1st and 5 we had in the waning moments in the game. No run? Really?

And why would Joe go for the endzone. If we scored, there would still be 1:40 on the clock and Brady would have had 2 TOs to get into field goal range. Odd decision.

More like we studied the shit out of the rulebook.
Quick announcement by the ref of who is ineligible on the play and the team is lined up and ready to go before the Ravens can react.
So smart by Brady and Bill man.
One of the best games i've seen.

Looks like we're locked in at the #26 overall pick. Carolina is the only team that can be ahead of us out of the remaining teams, while everyone else had more wins.

Lol, you guys had that one good play with the ineligible receiver. The rest was nothing special. Even the WR pass has been run a zillion times in college and in the pros, especially by Sanu.

Anyone can complete underneath routes vs Dean Pees defense. His CBs play 10 yards off every snap; he's giving you the underneath stuff to avoid the big play because our CBs are so bad. It's the same thing they did in previous years, leaving Cary Williams especially badly burned in 2012. Rashaan Melvin looked like Cary Williams today in the 2nd half, I felt bad for him.

Even though it won't happen, at least we can dream a little, right?

Seems like Jim Schwartz is out the door in Bills, would you guys take him over DP as DC?

I am torn on DP at the moment. His 10 yard buffers get old fast but is the secondary good enough to stay tight ?

I'd like to see a few games with some physical corner play before i completely give up. A healthy Jimmy and whoever we draft should help us get up in some peoples faces.

But i also agree with Terps about Torrey. He will never be a true number 1 without more fight. Imagine if he had a Steve Smith mentality or attacked the ball like Marlon Brown. He would be lethal imo.
