Yeah, I thought everybody would automatically know what 4th and 26 was referring too. I think that one was worse, since the Packers were leading with about a minute left and the game was all but over. The hail mary is a relatively close second though.

And no, I see no chance Capers will be fired. You can't blame the guy for not having the pieces he needed. Never found an OLB to compliment Matthews. Zombo was injured all year and I'm not sure we ever saw him at 100 percent. So'oto showed flashes of good things, but was also never really healthy for a significant amount of time. We never found the piece to replace Jenkins. Tramontana had a terrible season. He had some good games, but didn't play consistently well, and had a huge drop off from a year ago. Collins going down was something the secondary never recovered from. Capers is a great coach and really turned the defense around from what he started with. Remember, when he came in to Green Bay, the Packers were in the bottom third of the league and everybody thought that they would need a few seasons to excel in the switch to the 3-4. They finished second that year.

I don't see him going anywhere as a head coach this year either, to be honest. He's got 7 or 8 seasons of experience as a head coach and only one of them was a winning record (none were .500). Given, he did get both of the previous 2 HC jobs for expansion teams in their first seasons, but he never really had success. I see him ending up as a Head Coach again eventually, just not following this poor of a season from his unit.

Like I said though, the Packers have drafted offensively heavy for the past half decade, and that needs to switch this year. I'd love to see them sign a big Free Agent DT or OLB, but we all know how unlikely it is for TT and MM to change their philosophy on draft and develop. I don't even know if there is anybody worth going after at those positions in Free Agency this year, I'll have to see if I can get a list. Hopefully though, we trade up in the draft for a guy like Upshaw and can rely on a full offseason to get him ready to start.

Upshaw makes me drooooooooool. But in all honesty, the Free Agents MM and TT get are guys that aren't huge names. This might be the year we get somebody, kinda like a surprise pick up. Considering that Capers is all like 65?, its almost doubtful he becomes a head coach due to his age, I may be wrong.

I think he's a little younger than that. But I could see a down trodden team taking a shot on him if the Packers' defense bounces back next season.

I saw that earlier, looks painful! Would explain why he was limping for a while and sat out a series.

Yeah, but I don't know how much it really bothered him. It looks like it would slow you down, but we're talking about a guy who played more than half of last season with a broken leg.

It rained here all day, and when that happens I usually listen to a lot of Brand New. I was really enjoying it until this came on:

"The champ goes down like a clown in the second round. I wish we'd had a better goodbye." Jesse Lacey is mocking me.
