Come on.... how can you say he did well lol, the guy didn't do shit. He was a HUGE bust for us. That being said, it does take players usually a year minimum to learn how shit works in NE, before they start making a real impact. That could be the problem, but it still sucks losing how many weapons @ WR to bring in a guy who put up 200 yards....

i think we need to give it time, but i really do think he did okay for his FIRST season with us coming in MID season and us expecting a lot from him

i cant think of any wrs that just jumped right in (save randy moss freak athlete streakgod)

i like sanu for our offense, i think sony is getting better every year, and when we actually have our starting center and other pieces in place (draft additions --> TE lol.

I've still got faith of course, I was just severely disappointed in Sanu. We needed a play maker RIGHT THEN, which AB would have been, which DT might have been (probably not lol), and it sucked after I had such high expectations for him. I wasn't expecting a 1.xk /10 td year or anything, but I thought he would be a solid 3rd down option, that he'd bust out the occasional 40-50 yard burner play or fucking anything. I know that missing the pieces you mentioned has a huge impact on what our offense can do, but as far as individual talent goes, he was lackluster.

I'm not sold at all on Sony... the kid just can't break tackles. He's a pretty smart runner, good at hitting holes and he's decent when he gets outside, but he fucking folds the second he's touched, which makes him abysmal in short yardage situations, where you almost always have to break at least one tackle.

see I think sony has a very good lean when he's running the ball, i think he could work on acceleration

my biggest problem was why the fuck are we not scheming every play for james white when he's the best player on our offense

They don't seem to trust him outside the screen/broken play game and it's just fucking madness if you ask me. The guy is a fucking stud.

i feel like we should be using him out of the backfield even more

i think this year is the last on his contract too

Ya, I believe you're right. I think he signed a three-year deal in 2017.

He's still pretty fucking young, so the kid still has room for improvement too. It's absurd we don't seem interested in increasing his workload, especially with our depleted offense.

I'm still mad buttchin Brady got the MVP when White literally did everything to bring the Pats back in it. Guy is criminally underrated because accolades don't go farther than Bill and Tom in NE

You talking about the Atlanta game? I mean, he lead them back from a 25 point deficit lol, it HAS to go to the QB at that point. White had a great game, but Brady put up what, like 500 passing yards in the SB? No way it doesn't go there. He didn't get it last year at least, so it's not always Brady.

Edelman was a HUGE factor in LI too, but again, Brady just did more. If White would have done more on the ground, he would of had a chance.
