think we did pretty well overall
disappointed with our approach (or lack thereof) towards improving our pass rush
makes the fact that we missed out on connor barwin a little more significant
probably another year of getting midddle-of-the-pack sack totals but very inconsistent pressure on quarterbacks, which may again put undue pressure on our young secondary to outperform the rest of the defense

Decent video but most of those runs began with wide open holes where he wasn't touched for many yards after the LoS. Love that his legs and motions never stop even after contact or when he's being dragged down. Decisive is a good adjective to use as well. Hits the hole quick but seems to have decent vision. Good burst but yes, definitely lacks that final gear to burn the rest of the field.

Yeah he got chased down by DBs quite often. Another good thing about him is those times when he hits the line with nowhere to go, he very often comes away with 2-3 yards.... Which is probably supported by your statement about his legs and motions.
Also, what do you think your plans are for Taysom Hill? I'd say he's an HB in the NFL. He could also be tried on the defensive side of the ball. If he's gonna compete with Williams, it's gonna give me an ulcer.

They picked up good competition.

I would've liked to see another LB or D end. I'm sure they have plenty up their sleeves yet with UDFA

Please Kevin King, be smart and grow, and most of all please hold a huge chip on your shoulder for sitting in that green room.

Yeaaaahhh... the 'feast or famine' pressure our D seems to generate disappears at the worst times. I agree that it's going to be an issue and also put pressure on the secondary even more. Even the best secondary looks better when the front 7 are getting to the QB. Likewise, a young and inconsistent group of DBs can greatly benefit from consistent pressure.

Healthy competition. Hundley isn't the successor to Rodgers by any stretch and it's fairly evident that he will be dealt or let go after 2017 for a minimal hit. QB is the most important position in the NFL as proven by this years draft with an incredibly weak QB class and the subsequent demand by certain teams. I would love to see what he can do under center first, but he definitely has the frame and skillset to workout at whatever position he wants imo. Fuck it, put him in a universal jersey and let him try and get to Rodgers come OTA time :D

Very little chance he gets enough reps at RB to merit consideration there. We drafted 3 today and already had 2 on the roster (albeit not the best combination: TyMont + Christine Michael)

Its just hard to picture him as QB at the next level. I've seen much better passers come through BYU, have a shot, and flame out in the NFL. Although he continually got better, I think his injuries limited his progress quite a bit. 90%of his highlights stemmed from his athleticism/running ability/toughness. Due to that athleticism and his intelligence, I think he could be one of those guys being successful making a position change.

Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports that the Packers made backup QB Brett Hundley available for trade during the draft and nearly completed a deal on Day 2.

However, Demovsky says that it appears as though the Packers will hold on to Hundley for another season before looking to trade him next year.

Is he not progressing well?
