tbh i don't think any qb will do well on the jags atm

Some people picked Jacksonville to finish second in the AFC South entering this year. On the power rankings they were head and shoulders above the Colts. They had the talent and excitement with new ownership to perform much better than they are. I've seen Blaine Gabbert play in about six total games and he's been awful in every one. Small sample size of course. Maybe he's damn good in all of the others that I don't watch. I'll take your guys word that he's not the problem since you see him every game.

Gabbert is fine.  The O-Line needs to improve.  We are starting to get some decent receivers so that's good.  Keep in mind he got sacked 40 times last year (rookie year).  He has to gain some confidence after that.

Just don't waste three or four years trying to find out. A lot of teams make that mistake thinking they have that guy in place. It's the hardest position to find. The Colts were just very fortunate to draft Andrew Luck number one overall. It appears the Jaguars will soon be in that position - owning the first overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Blaine Gabbert: Hate to say it but he's just not an NFL starting quarterback. Could be a decent backup in the future.

Yup lets blame Gabbert like always. It's his fault Knighton had a roughing the passer penalty that took away an INT. It's his fault the refs took away a clear catch by Cecil Shorts. It's his fault that his OC calls plays where every single receiver only runs 8 yards. It's his fault they drop passes. It's his fault Robinson fumbled the ball.

It's not all Gabbert's fault but it felt like when Henne got in at 3rd quarter, he seemed (as well as the offense) to have played better.

Would love to hear your thoughts on that.

Henne isn't that good. He's a back up, that's what he is. They were playing 5-8 yards off the WRs a lot of the time towards the back end of that game. It made for easy garbage yards. Colts were letting them run down the clock knowing they had a nice lead. Gabbert is only 23 years old. He's got to play. You've got to see what he can do for the rest of this season. I personally think he should get another season, as well as the GM (he could get fired after this season). They need more talent, plain and simple. CB, LB, OL, WR. They need a burner at WR.

They did the same stupid crap they've did all season long. Dumb penalties, bad throws, dropped passes, missed tackles, fumbles. Everybody just flat out keep making mistakes and keep shooting themselves in the foot. I did like that they came out throwing though. They must continue to do that. Keep playing up tempo with the receivers spread. Couple mistakes by us and a bogus call or two by the officials really hurt us. Colts just took advantage and rolled.

On another note about the lack of the Running game lately. Everybody who doesn't know anything about this team, think not having MJD is the reason there isn't much of a running game. However, that's not true. Not having our FB Greg Jones is the reason for the lack of the running game. He is the guy who has paved the way for MJD the whole time. Jennings is more then capable at running with this Offense. But not having Greg Jones these past 2 games have really hurt.

I made this post a few days ago and it hit on a couple things tonight lmao

Gabbert is at his best when he is in the Shot Gun and they spread out the field with 3-4 WRs. When they play some up tempo and he's able to dictate the Defense. He can read the Defense and check into run plays when they're there. Hes did it in the past.

They need to stop with this Run 1st, Run 2nd, long 3rd down pass and Run 1st, Short pass 2nd, 3rd down pass game plan they start every game with. They need to throw it more on 1st down. Come right out of the gates throwing it. They need to stop with so much of this up close in the box crap. They bunch up the WRs right next to the OL and make it easier for the Defense to defend.

If they come out on Thursday, another home game in which we've been blown out this year by a total of 132-34 at home, or something real close to those numbers. If they come out and lay another stinker with the same exact crap we've seen for 8 games now. I might just lose it. It's time to develop these young guys. No more playing not to lose, no mistakes, non aggressive football. All it's gotten us is losses and way too many mistakes football. The whole team is making the same mistakes that they've been making all year long.

A top pick is nice, so if we lose I'm not all that bummed. It's just I'm tired of seeing the same exact predictable thing, over and over. Let the Offense go ffs.

I see. I think losing Greg Jones is right on the money.

The burner WR was suppose to be Blackmon but he's not doing that seriously.

It was a tough loss, I really thought Jags had a chance today but that lead became too wide and just couldn't catch up at all.
